Tailors chair is a mixed media on timber sculpture. The reclaimed timber is cut and sanded by hand and painted with a rough idea in mind. The inspiration for this piece is from my grandfather who was a tailor. He had such an amazing workshop at his home where he would sew clothes for my nana and the family. It was a treasure trove of coloured threads, fabric, old sewing machines and him sitting in his chair. This piece is approx 6cm X 9cm in size and will be sent in a padded bag via Australia post.
