Finding comfort is a labour of love. Created using 8 of my original hand printed lino cuts on fabric as well as 3 mono prints on fabric, all using dark blue oil based ink and printed on my etching press. This wall hanging is patched together with vintage and recycled cotton with all hand embroidered stitching to quilt and bind the wall hanging together. I found inspiration from moments in life hence the images of home, garden and domestic objects. I let the prints guide me in a direction with the repeated colour palette it completes this piece. It is 93cm in length and 51cm wide, being my largest wall hanging yet. It has a hand made timber backing on the top of the quilt for easy wall hanging and it is signed.
