Blackbird sings is an original patchwork wall hanging. I use my original linocuts and monoprints that I have printed in oil based ink onto fabric, to make these one of a kind pieces. Its a very intuitive process of playing with many different images and colours of fabric that is pieced together with embroidary and slow stitching. Each one is a labour of love and time. Blackbird sings is inspired by the blackbirds in my garden, it is 75cm x 39cm is size with a timber d-ring hanging system on the back for easy hanging.
